Emerging Leaders Graduation

The Emerging Leaders Program was developed by Leadership Prince William (LPW) in 2021. LPW is a non-profit organization that provides a signature program to business leaders and owners in Prince William County, the City of Manassas, and Manassas Park. Based on the Emerging Leaders Program syllabus, it is focused on providing rising leaders a path to gain knowledge, greater self assessment, and developing leadership skills. The program is 8-weeks, featuring speakers who are amazing and sought-out leaders throughout the County, and it is led by program manager, Aaron Tolson.

The current cohort was sponsored by SBR Workplace Leadership Services and the wrap-up speaker for this program cohort was our very own, Dr. Sabrina Brandon Ricks. Dr. Ricks had a wonderful time sharing with the leaders and left them with nuggets focused on the emerging changes facing our society such as working with artificial intelligence, working with Generation Z, the need for emotional intelligence, and the necessary traits all leaders need.

The graduates will be celebrated on Friday, November 15th, 2024 at the Manassas Museum at 5:00pm (9101 Prince William, St., Manassas, VA). There will be a keynote address by recent program director, Jesse Citizen. Dr. Ricks will be speaking at the event as well. Come and celebrate this amazing class of Emerging Leaders!
