As expected, our society is constantly evolving. Things change from generation to generation and even year to year. We have become a more relaxed society overall and informal in the many capacities which is fine in many ways. However, the businessperson operating in the business world is one of those professions that expects unchanged professionalism, etiquette, and respect.
It is important that at a grade school level, students are being taught the expectation of professionalism in the business world if they seek to launch their own businesses or if they seek to work for established corporations. Check out the newest article by Dr. Ricks in the Prince William Living magazine entitled "Maintaining Professionalism in the Workplace" for details. You will find the article HERE.
As September is National Workforce Development Month, what better time to be reminded of the expectations of doing business in America?
